Smithey’s glass lids are thoughtfully designed using high-quality tempered glass and complete with a gold finished cast stainless steel knob and rim.
Nope! Due to the hand-forged nature of our carbon steel cookware and with each being slightly unique, our glass lids do not fit our carbon steel line.
At this time we only have our 10", 12", and 14" glass lids. If you'd like to see a new glass lid from Smithey please fill out this request form.
The lid seems fine, but I'm paying high dollar for what I expected are US/SC made goods, I was disappointed to see that the lid was made in China (it said "assembled in SC" - not impressed), and yet it wasn't "China priced". Love the frying pan, don't mind paying a premium there, wish the lid was US-made (or if not, at least "China priced").
