After having prepared numerous dishes in the No. 14 Dual Handle skillet, I am impressed with the results. This pan is LARGE, HEAVY and solidly-made. Although slower to come up to temp than my other cast iron pans, the heat retention of this Smithey is exceptional. I loved the initial interior ‘seasoned’ finish (glass-like smoothness) with little or no sticking of foods— and with every dish made, the seasoning continues to improve. A truly well-made pan.

I love the durability. Nothing to dislike

I purchased my 14 in dual handle skillet at the Austin, TX Junior League Christmas event. There was a lovely young woman with an infectious personality that assisted me. I wish I knew her name so you could give her an extra special ‘thank you’. I put my skillet to use for Thanksgiving brunch - Brussels sprouts and bacon frittata. I’m inventing more recipe’s specially for my new, favorite kitchen tool. Love your products. They are works of art!
