Love this skillet. I was kinda shocked when the beautiful patina came off with the first flip of a chicken breast. But nothing sticks. I have cooked in it at least a dozen times in the two weeks I’ve had it. From eggs to steak everything is perfect. And it will just keep getting better. This won’t be my last Smithey.
I've only had it for a week but it's already my go-to pan. I used it for a variety of things that you wouldn't ordinarilly cook with a new cast iron pan and it was flawless. Easy clean up. Crazy heat retention. It is heavy but that's well worth the performance.
I could not be happier with my purchase of the 12" cast iron skillet. The craftsmanship is beautiful and built to last.
