So good to buy American and it has such great quality
I have 5 different types of cast iron. All from China. All the same crappy iron.
The quality of this product is impressive. The handle is the right length and width to be able to easily hold up the pan with one hand (for me). But the little "stub" on the opposite end of the handle it works great as a counter to the handle. It's big enough to grab and pick up with the pan is full of food.
The iron work is spectacular. I'm a software engineer so I know nothing about this, but I do have a family member that works with steel and iron and saw this and was very impressed.
But the other thing I love about this is the even cooking surface. It's very very good.
Overall guys, as a person that was raised by two chefs (Master Chef Grandfather and Chef father) this is the best cast iron pan I have ever purchased outside of the ones we had at the restaurant that were made in the 30's and 40's .
