Unlike many non-stick pans, every piece of Smithey cast iron is completely free of PFOA, PFAS, and PTFE. Instead, we pre-season our cookware with pure grapeseed oil, building a naturally nonstick surface that only gets better with use.

We stand behind the quality of our cast iron and carbon steel cookware. If your cookware is defective, we’ll replace it. If your cookware fails you after honest and normal use, we’ll repair or replace it.

What's the best way to clean the No. 12 Grill Pan?

Feel free to use a touch of soap when cleaning your grill pan! Make sure to scrub in between the grill lines if anything gets stuck in there.

How much space is in between each grill line?

There is 1/2" between each diagonal grill line.

Can I use the Grill pan in my oven or outdoors?

Yes, your grill pan is at home in your pizza oven or better yet the campfire.

I love it!! Plan on keeping it forever

The gaps in the grill are big enough to easily clean the grooves. The iron doesn’t easily rust. Super easy to clean and cooks awesome!! Get a staub press and ooooweee you got a panini press and helps grill chicken. I also ordered the Dutch oven the largest one I can’t wait to bake my own bread. I started with lodge but now I can tell the difference in forging and finishing. The polish parts really help with non-stick effect with the help of proper seasoning. You won’t regret !! I use mine every week to cook for the dogs lol

Solid and dependable

This will be inherited through generations of my family. It cooks beautifully and evenly. Your company also refurbished two fry pans that I inherited from my grandmother. They are almost 100 years old and are still wonderful pans, especially after your great company restored them and peeled away decades of build up on the exterior of the pans. They now look fabulous as well!

I love this pan!

This is our first Smithey purchase, and it is the best piece of cast iron we've ever owned. The grill marks are so smooth, and nothing sticks to it. Highly recommend!
