Why this Grill Pan?

Crafted with an obsession for detail, our square grill pan is your perfect companion for year-round grilling indoors or out. The pan’s wide, raised interior ridges create deep, attractive grill marks, while the polished peaks release food with ease. The diagonal ridge layout allows you to easily achieve beautiful crosshatch patterns by rotating food in simple 90 degree turns. We think this is the best grill pan on the market, and we hope you agree. Use it well!

THE CASE FOR
OUR CAST IRON

NO CHEMICAL COATINGS

Unlike many non-stick pans, every piece of Smithey cast iron is completely free of PFOA, PFAS, and PTFE. Instead, we pre-season our cookware with pure grapeseed oil, building a naturally nonstick surface that only gets better with use.

INVEST IN YOUR KITCHEN

Your grandchildren will thank you! We’ve designed and crafted every Smithey to withstand the test of time, become even better with age, and be an heirloom in your family’s kitchen.

USE IT ANYWHERE

From kitchens to campfires, your Smithey is at home wherever there is heat
and is designed to work on all sources, from gas and fire to induction and
electric. And don’t worry, it won’t scratch your stovetop.

EASY TO CLEAN

Cast iron gets a bad rap for being hard to clean. We’re here to bust that myth and let you know that polished cast iron is easy to clean. Unlike rough cast iron, which allows food to get stuck in the crevices, polished cast iron like Smithey has a smooth surface that practically wipes clean. And, despite popular belief, you can use soap.

Haven't tried it yet

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my daughter, so it hasn't been tried out yet. But, based on the last two pans I have given her it will be wonderful. She loves them. Your customer service is incredible. So happy I found your company.
