This is a serious skillet. Keep up the great work. You continue to make a quality product and I will continue to spend my money on it. Thank you.
Yes! However, it is important that your burner be approximately as large as the underside of the No. 14 skillet to ensure even heat distribution (we recommend at least a 10" burner). If you're on a smaller stove, it is important to gradually bring your Smithey to temperature to ensure even heat distribution.
Yes, turn your No. 14 skillet into a braiser with our custom fit 14" glass lid.
We use 2-3 coats of pure grape seed oil to pre-season your Smithey with. Seasoning is applied by hand and there are no chemical coatings of any kind applied to your skillet.

I’m loving this 14” skillet. After using a #8 skillet (9.5” cooking surface) from a local cast iron shop for the past year, this Smithey 14” feels like an entire cast iron cooktop. I love the fact that it also fits in my 18” Kamado grill. Can’t wait to give it a try in the grill tomorrow. I did get a glass lid for this and it came in handy making a very large omelette this morning. Still working on the seasoning but a large helping of bacon grease kept this in “non-stick” mode for a very nicely browned batch of eggs. Truly worth every penny in my kitchen. For the record, we’ve been using it on an induction cooktop so far.
I knew I would enjoy cooking with my Smithey 14” pan from the moment saw it. It came seasoned, Now that it’s almost seasoned from My Use, I’m loving it more!
Love the quality and the easy clean up
Love it just wish it kept its beautiful bronze color
