The best Smithey pan of the 4 I own.
Do yourself a favor and get the larger high sided pans. The high sides keep the splatter down and the larger sizes mean you can cook more and more variations/variety. I have the # 10’s and the farmhouse and they are just to small and /or shallow. They’re great for 1-2 people , cooking eggs, pancakes, maybe searing one steak at a time…but….from here on out I only want the # 12’s and up. Don’t get me wrong they are high quality and I don’t want to cook with any other! Buy one, test it out…treat yourself! You wont be disappointed! But now that I own a (expensive) few I know what pans are best suited for me and my family. I got my eye on the 7.5 Dutch oven next. The # 11 deep skillet is the best of my collection by far…I don’t care for the glass lid …for the price it should be cast iron too. Or at least make the glass lid in the USA! Am I not going to use the lid?
Of course , I’m gonna use it!
