I own literally dozens of cast iron skillets, griswold, Wagner, lodge, etc. Wwe received the Smithey, we seasoned it twice. The next day I made salmon croquettes and I was just amazed how much I loved the way they turned so easily, no sticking at all. And they came out so crispy on the outside. I might as well sell all my other skillets as the Smithey is now my favorite skillet ever!
