We use 2-3 coats of pure grape seed oil to pre-season your Smithey with. Seasoning is applied by hand and there are no chemical coatings of any kind applied to your skillet.
Our standard size leather skillet sleeve is custom fit for your No. 10 skillet.

I wanted to get away from non coated skillets and dedicated to go with cast iron over stainless steel. I am so glad I did! These are now my everyday pans
It was everything I expected. I love cast iron. I have a Wagner skillet I’ve had almost 60 years. Also have several Lodge skillets and Dutch ovens. I love them all, but the Smithy cast iron takes it to another level. Very well done.
