Exceptional, I've cooked on all sorts of cast iron from unused mint condition vintage Wagner, to old well used who knows what cast iron, and your average lodge. This is the best cast iron I've ever cooked on and by a lot. It's so smooth, heavy, heats so evenly and stays hot, I love the shape for sliding and flipping food compared to a traditional cast iron skillet shape. It's absolutely worth the additional cost because it performs as great as it looks.
