This was a Christmas gift for my wife, and she loves it so much. To the point I’m not allowed to touch it!! We are really enjoying such a multi purpose tool , and with its unique build it gets alot of attention. Thank you for helping me make her Christmas list come true!! She’s already got her eyes on another item from you all, maybe then I’ll get to touch the wok😃.

I’m limited to induction cooktops where I cook. The first thing I noticed was how quickly it heats up. When I visited the store in Charleston SC I was able to talk to team that actually made it. They noted they season it and told me exactly how to maintain the seasoning. The Smithey team also said to call for any of my questions. Beautiful customer experience. So far I have made vegetable fried rice, shaken beef, sweet and sour chicken, and beef and broccoli. I absolutely love the way my scrambled eggs on the fried rice just easily slipped out of the wok. Perfect. But what I experienced was how quickly it heated up. I learned to adjust my induction temp down because of the even heat distribution. I get more wok hei effects using induction than any other wok I used. That’s why it’s my favorite. It’s just how they make it, with the thin but strong metal bowl. That’s why the great heating. I also love the handle as it makes it very easy to use. And at 3.5 pounds it is very manageable. Perfect for me and super yummy food.

Haven’t used it yet but am looking forward to doing so in the new year.
