First class cookware. Seasons well. Very deep skillet but understand it's heavy.
Yes! However, it is important that your burner be approximately as large as the underside of the No. 14 skillet to ensure even heat distribution (we recommend at least a 10" burner). If you're on a smaller stove, it is important to gradually bring your Smithey to temperature to ensure even heat distribution.
Yes, turn your No. 14 skillet into a braiser with our custom fit 14" glass lid.
We use 2-3 coats of pure grape seed oil to pre-season your Smithey with. Seasoning is applied by hand and there are no chemical coatings of any kind applied to your skillet.

This is the finest cast iron I've ever laid hands on. It's a great size to cook for a crowd or meal prep, it's got wonderful heat retention, the handles are a nice size and shape to easily handle the pan. The factory seasoning was also incredible, non-stick from the very first use.
Fabulous!! Love the look, depth and 2 handles!
We absolutely love the No. 14 Dual Handle Skillet.
It cooks everything evenly and quicker than my old skillet.
My sister, came and lived with us while her house was being built. This one pan was her go to for cooking. It went from frying to sauteing veggies, to making fries rice. When her house was almost completed she said the pan was the one thing she would miss, so of course that was what I bought her as a house warming gift! Can't say enough about this versatile pan
