We use 2-3 coats of pure grape seed oil to pre-season your Smithey with. Seasoning is applied by hand and there are no chemical coatings of any kind applied to your skillet.

Delivery was quick. Great product. Didn't need to season it really. Rubbed some oil on it. Heated on the gas stove. Then turned heat down and fried an egg on it. Didn't stick.

This is an excellent skillet the only critique I have is the fact the preseasoning came off first couple times I used the skillet. Which tells me this particular preseason was not done well.
