Unlike many non-stick pans, every piece of Smithey cast iron is completely free of PFOA, PFAS, and PTFE. Instead, we pre-season our cookware with pure grapeseed oil, building a naturally nonstick surface that only gets better with use.

Smithed 12 skillet

Five cooks in and super impressed with this skillet. I’ve cooked on cast iron for years but this is the type of experience I’ve always searched for. Huge difference between these smooth pans and others. More impressed every day, already looking for a second one.

Wasn’t sure what to expect from this cast-iron pan, yes it’s expensive $$, and I was apprehensive. Well…I am very impressed with it, it’s well-made, heavy; which means quality, and it cooks food perfectly, also fun to use. It’s worth the money, and I highly recommend it.

Mean Gene

Very good skillet cooked with a several times now couple weeks I reckon just starting to take season in a little bit, but I have nothing sticking in it. Most of all is what I like. It holds heat really good. It looks good too.
