The polished, curved interior walls are perfect for browning and stirring ground meat and vegetables. Want to steam, simmer, or braise? Add some liquid and put on the custom-fit glass lid. Like all Smithey skillets, the interior features our signature polished finish, which, when seasoned, is naturally non-stick and easy to clean. Use it well!

No. 11 Smithey Deep Skillet Use

I'm very happy with the skillet! I've pan seared steaks, batter fried zucchini and onions, and used it for stir frys. I use at least once every week.

I don't put it away after cleaning, because it looks so great on the stove. I guess that's it's place to be!

The Desert Island Skillet

If I was deserted on a desert island and could only take one piece of cookware, this would be it! You can do just about anything in this deep skillet. I wish I would’ve bought it a lot sooner than I did, but I am thoroughly enjoying it.

11 I ch w/lid

We love our new Smithey pan. I waited a few weeks of use to write this review. The pan performs very well. We have cooked all different types of food in it and it remains smooth, mostly non stick and easy to clean. The seasoning oil is a must have. The only down side to our purchase is the lid. The handle gets quite hot when simmering foods, I have to use a pot holder to remove it. Otherwise, it fits the pan nicely. We will certainly be purchasing more items as our budget allows.
