The No 11 skillet was my second piece of Smithey. I started with the 8" and was so happy with the quality that I purchased the deep skillet which did not disappoint.... that led to purchasing the small dutch oven. I've been cooking with different brands of cast iron for decades - this is by far the best quality I've used. My only regret is that I didn't find Smithey a long time ago. Highly recommend, superior quality and amazing customer service.

This is a nice cast skillet and I've used it several times since it arrived.

The only issue I had was there was a small raised piece of metal in the bottom center of the pan. It was about the size of a grain of sand but you could see and feel it. obviously it was a remnant of the production process. I had to remove it with a piece of emery cloth. then re-season the pan.

A very good skillet glass smooth interior High walls . Slopped sides and a lid make it very versatile. Would highly recommend

Whatever ya want to call it ... I love it ! Every pan need a cover ! And ya can see in the cover ! Polish inside is so awesome. Works great on my gas stove.

Watching America’s Test Kitchen review cast iron was eye opening to me for this line. Watching other videos compare Smithey to other cast iron brands, made me a believer. And watching the evening news segment of “Made in America” brands… made me place the order. This is such a great product, and a great company! I am very happy with this little piece of art. Can’t wait to collect more!
