The standard-fit slides perfectly over the handle of the No. 6, No. 10, No. 12, and No. 14 Traditional shaped skillets. Like cast iron, these sleeves get better with time and use.
No, our sleeves are not sized to fit our carbon steel cookware.
We do not recommend placing your leather sleeve in the oven. As leather is a natural material, it can burn.
I have ordered a few pans from Smithey and each one has a dedicated sleeve. These things are awesome.
And shoutout to Paul with Smithey support. On my last order the sleeve was not included in the shipment. Contacted support and they had a sleeve on the way within a week!
