Unlike many non-stick pans, every piece of Smithey cast iron is completely free of PFOA, PFAS, and PTFE. Instead, we pre-season our cookware with pure grapeseed oil, building a naturally nonstick surface that only gets better with use.

FAQ’s:

We stand behind the quality of our cast iron and carbon steel cookware. If your cookware is defective, we’ll replace it. If your cookware fails you after honest and normal use, we’ll repair or replace it.

How is this different than the No. 6 Skillet?

The No. 6 Dual Handle Skillet is complete with two embossed Smithey handles and flared interior walls allowing for more capacity and seamless movement from stovetop to table.

What oil do you pre-season with?

We use 2-3 coats of pure grape seed oil to pre-season your Smithey with. There are no chemical coatings of any kind applied to your skillet.

Do you have a lid to fit the No. 6 Dual Skillet?

No, we do not currently have a lid for our No. 6 Dual Handle Skillet.

Dessert is served

Are you familiar with the new puff pastry craze for simple desserts? Get familiar if not and this is the perfect little skillet to use. You can bake a quick dessert while you are making dinner with just a few fresh ingredients and some cinnamon, maybe even top with some peacans to be fancy. This little skillet can fit next to any skillet in the oven and it is adorable on the table cooling a little sweetness while you eat.
