Traditionally, French fish pans, also known as poissonnières, were oval-shaped and crafted from copper or brass. They were specifically designed to cook or poach a whole fish.
This pan would be ideal for roasting a chicken or any large cut of meat, as its shape accommodates these items well, allowing for even cooking. It is also perfect for casseroles or roasted vegetables.
Yes! We hope you do. This skillet, with its oval shape and long handle make it ideal for searing on the stovetop and maneuvering in to the oven for a strong finish.
