Awesome cookware. Bought a few and came back for more.
Traditionally, French fish pans, also known as poissonnières, were oval-shaped and crafted from copper or brass. They were specifically designed to cook or poach a whole fish.
This pan would be ideal for roasting a chicken or any large cut of meat, as its shape accommodates these items well, allowing for even cooking. It is also perfect for casseroles or roasted vegetables.
Yes! We hope you do. This skillet, with its oval shape and long handle make it ideal for searing on the stovetop and maneuvering in to the oven for a strong finish.

I’m not only cooking fish with this pan but really anything it’s just a nice little shaped pan that sits shallow on the stove it works great when working with multiple pans on the stove at the same time
I use it for every day cooking highly recommended.
The high quality American craftsmanship shines on these products. Former chef myself so with an understanding of quality/performance/longevity Ive been gifting them to my son. Got the standard cast iron pan for Cmas. Got him the carbon steel fish pan for Fathers Day. I have no doubt these will be in this family for decades to come. Thank you. Even the seasoning for the cast was top notch stuff
When I received my order , it’s even better looking than I thought it would be. Enjoying cooking with it.
As described and very easy to use and clean.! A little heavier than I was expecting though.
