Thank you
I had to buy the little farmhouse skillet to add to my Christmas gift from my in-laws (carbon fish skillet). I enjoy cooking with my carbon steel skillets and look forward to the day I can purchase cast iron from smithey.
Yes! We have marked the first batch of these skillets with—you guessed it—a little farmhouse.
Due to the hand-forged nature of our carbon steel cookware and with each piece being slightly unique, we do not have a custom fitting lid for our Little Farmhouse skillet.

The smith workers that built this, wow, did a beautiful job. I received it for Christmas and was so surprised! I cook daily so loving the lighter weight of it. Heavier than expected but still able to maneuver it around with my weak wrist lol. This was going to be our main omelette skillet but decided to make french toast with it first try. Just butter and nothing stuck! Very impressive. Have had cast iron for a while so decided to try out the carbon steel. Heats fast like a stainless steel but not having the caution of sticking if not heated correctly. The only reason I took a star off was the pan has an arch or curve in the center of the pan. When I put a slab of butter in to melt I could see the butter settle to the outside edges, nothing coating the center. Really bummed since the price was slightly steep. I understand the price because it’s handmade but wondering what will happen in future cooks with that bend. Will it be a hotspot? Uneven omelettes? Etc.
Such an incredible little skillet. Used it for numerous side dishes and absolutely love it.
Super cool!
Excellent. One of my favorite everyday pieces of cookware.
