We stand behind the quality of our cast iron and carbon steel cookware. If your cookware is defective, we’ll replace it. If your cookware fails you after honest and normal use, we’ll repair or replace it.

Is the Smithey Dutch oven enameled?

The Smithey Dutch oven is non-enameled and naturally seasoned with a pure grape-seed oil. While great for breads, soups, stews and more- boiling pasta or water is not the best use of your Smithey Dutch oven.

Can I cook acidic dishes in my Smithey Dutch oven?

A well-seasoned Smithey does not fear any acidic dishes. Before diving into chili and tomato sauces however, we recommend establishing a more mature seasoning layer through baking or frying.

Does the 3.5 QT Dutch oven lid fit any of your other cookware?

No, currently the 3.5QT lid only fits our 3.5QT Dutch oven.

Extremely happy with purchase got it for wife’s birthday she love it!

Dutch Owen came out of box and landed right on the stove we made beef stew and it’s working amazing!!

Once you bring your dish to a boil it takes very low heat to keep it boiling

We love all our Smithey products they make great kitchen decoration as well

Already thinking what next product of yours can i buy 😂

Over the top quality.

My grandma always said “buy a good one the first time” It made sense. You care about the food you eat but cooking great food on a toxic skillet was a big concern. Make an investment to have the right one that will last you the rest of your life and can be passed down to others. This is the good one.
