My “go to” skillet
This little skillet is my go to skillet whenever I’m going to cook for just one or two people and I need something that won’t stick and can tolerate high heat. I absolutely love it. You won’t regret it if you buy one.
Yes! We have marked the first batch of these skillets with—you guessed it—a little farmhouse.
Due to the hand-forged nature of our carbon steel cookware and with each piece being slightly unique, we do not have a custom fitting lid for our Little Farmhouse skillet.

This has met my expectations. Just what I was looking for. I cook almost exclusively on the grill, so the steel handle was a must. I have cooked diced potatoes and carrots, chicken breast and salmon. All turned out great. Looking forward to a lifetime of use!
I don't miss my nonstick at all!
We have been doing the "buy a new skillet" routine every 6 months or so and decided to get a quality skillet from Smithey. Why did we not do this sooner??? I freaking love this skilket. The quality of the food cooked is amazing and it does not stick. I will be buying more from this trustworthy business soon and getting rid of the others. Excellent investment! Thank you Smithey!
Definitely can tell it's a quality handmade piece! I seasoned just like my cast iron and after five days it’s nonstick with a couple of drops of oil. Too bad I can’t upload pics but it’s pitch black now and very smooth. Seared anywhere from steak to shrimp to scallops to scalloped potatoes and none of it sticks! I just wipe out with a paper towel. Very pleased and know it will last forever.
