Unlike many non-stick pans, every piece of Smithey cast iron is completely free of PFOA, PFAS, and PTFE. Instead, we pre-season our cookware with pure grapeseed oil, building a naturally nonstick surface that only gets better with use.

Wow! I can already say after only using this a handful of times that I delight in using Smithey Ironware. If only I'd have discovered them sooner! I haven't used any toxic non-stick cookware/bakeware for several years and have had issues with everything sticking. This is the first time I haven't had food stick to the pans. I have very high expectations and therefore I'm usually disappointed. This is not one of those occasions. Now I want everything they make!
I am a huge fan and extensive user of cast iron for cooking. The Smithey No 12 Skillet is the best cast iron skillet I’ve ever used.
I actually own a couple of generations old skillets, I have a few bought over the past few years and none of them are as nonstick or cook as well as the Smithey.
