Good
I have constantly used peanut oil to reseason my cast iron pans in the past. I’ve only used the seasoning oil on the Smithey skillet, and it has done a good job. Nothing sticking so far.

The gift
It has totally changed my mind about the Smithey carbon steel 12 inch deep pan I recently received as a birthday gift.
My first cooking experience was a giant mess because I didn’t seal the pan. We ate the carbon with the meal.
I’ve seal it with the Smithey oil3 times and it’s a beautiful cooking experience.
