Smithey's 2023 Recap
THANK YOU
For a Great Year
As the holiday season comes to a close, our team here at Smithey Ironware would like to thank you for your continued support and enthusiasm. By now, many of you have either given or received a Smithey. We hope that you are well on your way to breaking it in, with many more meals and memories to come.
- A LOOK BACK AT 2023 -
It was a busy year for us as we continued to grow Smithey into the next great American cookware brand. We’ve added a few more skillets to our arsenal, including the No. 14 Cast Iron Skillet and the Deep Farmhouse. Plus, the Mighty Spatula, which you all flipped for and sold out in a day!
The No. 14 and the Mighty Spatula
We set out for new adventures this year, perfecting steak sears with Chef Chris Shepherd down in Houston, popping up at trade shows in Salt Lake City and New York, and learning about old-school chuckwagon cooking from the folks at Perini Ranch in Texas.
We spent a lot of time with people who help to tell the Smithey story, from crabbing in Shem Creek with David Richardson, perfecting paella with Chef Juan Cassalett, cooking on the coast of Maine with Matt Trogner. Experiences like this remind us why we do what we do and inspire us to keep bringing people together around food and cooking.
We were also fortunate to partner with many incredible brands this year, including Knob Creek, whose team we worked closely with to develop an “18 times seasoned” No. 12 skillet that was a true work of art. We’re thankful for our list of partners and collaborators who advocate for Smithey and are excited to cook with us.
Thank you for choosing Smithey Ironware and for being a part of our journey. We look forward to continuing to serve you and providing you with the best cookware in America.
