I wish I had a before picture

Smithey did more than what I thought was possible with my restoration. The pot's prior owner took very little care and it was crusted with 50+ years of rust. It is now smooth, usable sitting at the top of my pot stand like a gleaming crown. Thank you!

A classic and beloved pan, restored beautifully

The restoration service was really easy to take advantage of, the work was done quickly, and the result was amazing. So great to see my "old favorite" pan brought back to life by the pros.

Adequate

I had a Smithey that needed a restoration due to some rusting. I decided to perform a restoration myself and cleaned all the rust and old seasoning off the pan. Once this was done I noticed there was a difference on the texture of the cooking surface of the pan. That’s when I came across the restoration offered by Smithey. I decided to send the pan in instead of finishing the restoration myself because I believed the factory would restore the pan far better than I could. The turnaround time was quick and the quality of restoration was great, but the difference in surface texture was still notable just as it was before I sent it. I assumed the surface would have been resurfaced and that is likely something I overlooked and was not part of the scope of work offered. I can’t say for the price I paid and the work I put in before I sent off the pan it was worth the cost. While the job they did on the pan was fine I feel on my case I basically paid for a re-seasoning and less for a restoration.

This service brought new life to a family heirloom

From start to finish, the experience was fantastic! My skillet came back looking brand new. I really appreciated the note that came with my skillet when it arrived. I’ll be using again on another skillet!
