Just Like New!!!

I sent my old crusted Griswold black iron skillet to Smithey to be restored. It was a gift from an old friend. I was shocked to get it back looking brand new. I have used it to make cabbage and noodles, and to make my sourdough English muffins. It worked beautifully.

Don’t get rid of your old cast iron, send it to Smithey’s , they are the best.

Amazing Customer Service

For my birthday, I received the 12 skillet and lid combo with engraving. Inadvertently the lid got water on it and the rust. It was brand new and never used. I called Smithey the next business day and they couldn’t have been more helpful. They fixed the rust spot and it is as good as new!

Highly recommend Smithey for high quality and amazing customer service.

Crusty old Griswold

There’s no telling how many chickens that my Mother fried in her #10 Griswold skillet, but I’m glad it came to me from her estate. The burned-on crust was too much for me, but you folks restored it to like-new! Thanks!!

Not quite!

I had high hopes when I sent my mother-in-law's skillet to you for restoration. It was in pretty bad shape but I was told that it would return in almost brand new condition. What I got back was not quite what I expected. It appears very little work had been done to it but it was somehow treated with a coating but the interior and exterior remained quite rough. I am using it and it it works adequately. However it is not very pretty. I hope for better, but maybe that's the best they could do.

Amazing Work

I had (as far as I could tell) a mid -1910's Wagner 7 pan that I stole from my Father when I left home 37 years ago. I assume he stole it from his mother when he left home 30 years before that! It was usable but in rough shape. Lots of build up and had suffered from years of abuse . The Smithey Team made it like new, it is such a beautiful piece now. I have always loved this pan but even more so now. I think I'll be handing it down to one of my kids (hopefully in another 30 years).
