Available in two sizes, the standard-fit slides perfectly over the handle of our Traditional Cast Iron Skillets while the extended fit is designed to give more protection to the handles on our Chef Skillets and the No. 11 Deep Skillet. Like cast iron, these sleeves get better with time and use.
No, our sleeves are not sized to fit our carbon steel cookware.
While we can't guarantee fit on other brands of cookware, our standard length leather sleeve fits most other traditional cast iron skillet brands.
We do not recommend placing your leather sleeve in the oven. As leather is a natural material, it can burn.
I have the 12” cast iron skillet. The standard size leather sleeve fits snugly & perfectly. It really performs well to protect my hands. I love the embossed logo too! Well done Smithey!
