Makes pancakes just as well as if were a factory first

Near as I can tell, it might (or maybe not) be the seasoning spray was a little messed up which made it a second, but honestly, it makes no difference. It cooks just as well as being a first. Smithey factory seconds look just as good as firsts and for the added savings, living with a little messed up spray is no problem at all. After a few uses it doesn't make any difference, and you'd never know anyway. Being able to build my Smithey collection at a considerable savings is completely worth it. Love my new flat top griddle!!

Tough to get the seasoning right

Many attempts to use and season failed and I almost gave up. The service team helped me with many suggestions and finally it has started being the pan I was so excited about. I am looking forward to happily using it now. It was so much harder for me than the videos.
