The extended fit slides perfectly over the handle of the No. 8 & No. 10 Chef skillets, both No. 10 and No. 12 Flat Tops, and the No. 11 Deep Skillet. Like cast iron, these sleeves get better with time and use.
No, our sleeves are not sized to fit our carbon steel cookware.
We do not recommend placing your leather sleeve in the oven. As leather is a natural material, it can burn.
Fits snugly. Time will tell how well the leather holds up. It seems to be better fit then the last one I got with cast iron skillet.

It's very helpful ... the handle gets really hot.
Looks good, does its job, feels and looks durable but only time will tell, although I tend toward it lasting a long time.
