Unlike many non-stick pans, every piece of Smithey cast iron is completely free of PFOA, PFAS, and PTFE. Instead, we pre-season our cookware with pure grapeseed oil, building a naturally nonstick surface that only gets better with use.

Unlike rough cast iron, which allows food to get stuck in the crevices, polished cast iron like Smithey has a smooth surface that practically wipes clean. And, despite popular belief, you can use soap.

We stand behind the quality of our cast iron and carbon steel cookware. If your cookware is defective, we’ll replace it. If your cookware fails you after honest and normal use, we’ll repair or replace it.

Is your cookware compatible on an induction stove?

Yes! All Smitheys are designed for use on gas, glass/ceramic and induction stovetops. Use them on the campfire or the pizza oven as well!

Do any glass lids come with this set?

Yes! Our 6" glass lid comes with this set.
