Fish Ski'love'let
The Fish Skillet is a stunning piece of carbon steel cookware, with its oval shape and hammered texture making it perfect for cooking a multitude of options. It's lightweight and retains heat, transitioning effortlessly from cooktop to oven or table. At first I very hesitant and scared to use it...worried about the price, potential sticking and if it would live up to the hype of being an heirloom quality pan. After a few uses, I absolutely love it. The carbon steel heats quickly and evenly without hot spots. Cleanup is quick...just warm water and a sponge or chain cleaner for spots that don't rinse right off. I make sure it 's completely dry and then just add the thinnest layer of oil for protection. It's developing a great patina and the handle is very comfortable. It's become my go to for steaks, burgers and more. I just wish it wasn’t as expensive as it was, but for the craftsmanship and performance, it's hard to argue it's not worth it if you're serious about cooking. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a dedicated, beautiful tool that elevates any dish!
