This skillet was put directly to work with a fish fry for the family. The fit and finish is immaculate. The seasoning was excellent out of the box. The weight is heavy enough to get excellent heat retention and distribution, and at the same time I am able to pour out of it one-handed. The tab on the opposite end of the handle made pouring a breeze two-handed. Quality work. This was the first item that I have ordered from Smithey, and it will not be my last!!
