History restored, the future bright
Two cast iron pans, a large skillet and one simply marked ‘chicken fryer,’ both orange with layers of shaggy rust, were abandoned and left behind in the back of the old kitchen cabinet when friends moved into their new home in the mountains. We didn’t know how to remove so much rust and the pans sat for years on a shelf in the garage. I found Smithey’s restoration service and sent them off, hoping for the best and prepared to be told they were beyond salvage. Smithey’s experts fixed them up good as new! Gorgeous black cast iron pans, each at least 60 years old, and ready for another set of generations to cook in them. Thank you!
