Little disappointed in first smithey. Should have not bought the second but it had seasoning problem. Seasoned with more grapeseed oil before first cook of hamburger and onions. Everything stuck so bad had to use chain mail to scrub it all off. Bought your season paste, seasoned 10 times now back to a good finish and ready to try cooking on it again. Here’s to high hopes.
This skillet is of the same great quality and finish and cooks just as great as my other cast iron from Smithey. I wouldn't hesitate to get another one in the future.
Received my 12" skillet and started, as recommended with 80% burger and onions and ended up with some sticking and a tad more cleanup than anticipated.....thinking the next use will probably be a bit better.

Very heavy (duh) but very good quality. So happy to start to change out my cookware. Breaking it in takes some time.. but it is coming along well. Thank you!
