New favorite pan!

I love this pan, it’s what cast iron should be. The curved edge and depth are great for sautéing.

Not sure what made this a “second” … the pan is fantastic and rhe workmanship is typical Smithey perfection in my opinion. A great addition to our Smithey collection.

Lonesomejohn, old man that loves cooking and especially on cast iron.7

What a beautiful skillet. And great glass top. Love the rounded lip. I am a minor collector of cast iron cook ware. Lots of Wagner pieces and some Griswolds. I’m sure some of my cars iron pans are over 100 years old.

I used to find them at garage sales in pretty rough condition. After some cumbersome experiences I finally developed a method of cleaning and seasoning that works very well. Start with a camp fire and when done enjoying the fire bury your recent grungy cast iron finds in the coals, dig them out in the morning. The hard part is now done.

Keep up the great work, I refer people to your web site all the time.
