I ordered this second one because I have the regular farmhouse skillet, and I am very pleased with it. However, I wanted to have a deeper-skillet . I can’t tell why it would be a second. It looks great!
Bought this to a company my regular farmhouse skillet. Very minor blemishing on factory seasoning. Over the past couple of weeks working on progressive seasoning using avocado oil. Can no longer see the original minor perfection. This weekend plan on putting it to use. Have six Smithey products and they all have performed wonderfully.
What is not to love?? It is beautiful sitting on my stove, it cooks beautifully and did I say it was the most beautiful pan I have ever owned!
I like almost everything about this skillet…capacity, easy clean-up, looks are all great. My only(small) complaint is that I can no longer “flip” meats and vegetables I am sautéing due to the weight of the skillet vs. the size and placement of the handle. Otherwise, outstanding!
