the spatula is cheap to be blunt. Gets loose from handle once it gets wet. I also wish I had known ahead of time (could be my fault tbh) the it was made in china and not the us.
This is a light spatula but still tough. Definitely recommend for fish and eggs. Also used it to make crepes.

The metal portion is nice but.... the wood handle is rough to touch and the two wood halves are slightly offset from each other. This spatula does not meet the quality of Smithey's other products.
