Absolutely, despite what you may have heard you CAN use metal utensils on your cast iron and carbon steel cookware.
We do not recommend putting your spatula in the dishwasher due to the wooden handle.
While we do not have a specific left-handed version of our spatula, the curve of the metal itself is not engineered to favor a specific hand.

I love this new spatula. It is nothing like the lighter flexible spatulas I have. This thing can cut and chop since it such strong steel. But it also fits well with all my Smithey cast iron skillets, so it works smooth. Well balanced, beautifully made.
