Absolutely! The rings on our chainmail scrubber will not damage your seasoning layer and make cleaning any stubborn burnt on bit of foods easy.
How long does the seasoning oil last?
Our seasoning oil has a shelf life of about 1 year. After that, you will want to replace it!

Ignorance is NOT bliss
I never took the time to learn how to properly care for and seasn my cast iron skillet... but you can sure teach an old dog new tricks. In addition to having Smithey recondition my nearly 100-year-old skillet, I learned from my previous mistakes and now swear by Smithey's seasoning oil and chain mail scrubber to keep my vintage skillet looking (and cooking) like new.

Mixed bag - literally
The seasoning oil seems good although makes no mention of source of origin, I'm hoping it's domestic. The chain mail scrubber sadly is made in China, you can find similar ones on Amazon for cheap. You can also find US-made scrubbers online with no trouble. Love Smithey's cookware, wish they would seek to source all of their stuff domestically.
