I really like the trivet because when I cook or I reseason the skillet when it is hot I have a place to put it while it is cooling down so I do not damage my counter top.Very useful for other hot items on the kitchen table also.

My brother is an artisanal Carpenter and he said it was a very well made walnut trivet. He asked me if I was going to hang it or actually use it. I told him both! Very happy with the quality and craftsmanship

Those who know quality look for it in the details. Smithey didn’t cut corners in selecting its materials. When I saw that the trivet was made out of walnut, I had to have it.
